  • Sports Days - June 2017

    Wed 07 Jun 2017

After a lot of weather watching, the decision was taken to go ahead with our Sports Days on Tuesday, 6th June. The sun wasn't shining but the excitement of the children made up for that and we were able to proceed as planned. From our youngest pupils in Nursery to those in P7 who'll be moving on soon, everyone was fantastic! There were lots of nail-biting finishes and the line judges had many difficult decisions to make. Despite a couple of brief rain showers, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the events. Special thanks to the PSA who organised a refreshments stall. Check out the 'Gallery' to see some photos from the day:-

  • Sports Day

    Mon 05 Jun 2017

We hope our Sports Day will be able to go ahead tomorrow - weather forecast is not very positive but fingers crossed!

    Arrangements for Sports Day:-

FS & KS1 plus Nursery (am) is due to start at approx 9.15am. Children will return to class afterwards and will finish school at 2pm as usual.

KS2 plus Nursery (pm) is due to start at 12.45pm. This event will probably finish around 2.30pm. Rather than ask you to wait and collect your children at 3pm, we're happy for them to leave a little early. (Please note this only applies to children whose parents are at Sports Day and want to collect them - school will continue until 3pm as normal.) All children will return to their classroom with their teacher (carrying chairs etc) who will bring them out to the appropriate playgound once they are organised. Parents must go to the playground and collect children in person - we want to ensure a safe handover for everyone.
    Junior Playground: P5 classes & P6B
    Senior Playground: P6S, P6W & P7 classes
We appreciate this can be a little awkward for parents with children in different classes but safety is vital; staff will happily supervise children until you get there.

Please note - all KS2 children should come to school wearing their school PE kit. (If anyone has forgotten to take theirs home, they will be able to change in the morning.) P1-P4 pupils should wear own sports kit.
