Sports Council 2025/26

Our P7 Sports Council is full of energy and ready to make physical activity a priority across the school! Each member is passionate about sport and wants every child to enjoy being active, making friends, and having fun.

This year, they’ve discussed some great ideas:

• 'Give it a Try Days' so pupils can experience new sports and activities.
• Fundraisers to help buy team sports kits, new playground and PE equipment.
• A Mascot Model Design Competition to create our Cairnshill Sports Character 'BIBBY' who represents our school spirit.
• Campaigns to promote physical activity across all Key Stages, encouraging everyone to get moving.

We’re also very proud to announce that Cairnshill has recently achieved the IFA School Quality Mark for PE, recognising our commitment to high-quality physical education and sport.
