P4S create digital stories with Scratch Jr
Having learned about different climates in our Weather topic, we used the ScratchJr app on our iPads to create animated stories from different parts of the world. We learned how important it is to give clear instructions in computer programming and were quickly able to create lots of different animations with sound, pictures, conversations and a whole range of movements. Jen from Nerve Belfast helped us to move our characters to different parts of the world (backgrounds) and we loved sharing our animations with the class on the interactive whiteboard. Jen was really impressed with all of our creativity!
We can't wait to use ScratchJr again in lots of different lessons after half term.
