P1P have had a very busy week learning lots about people who help us. On Tuesday 1st March Dr Barrett came to visit us to tell us about her job as a GP. We looked at lots of different instruments she uses in her surgery to help diagnose her patients! We learned lots of interesting facts about our bodies and had the opportunity to be doctors ourselves - that was great fun! Check out our pictures below to see what we got up to!
Continuing our theme of people who help us, on Wednesday 2nd March we went on a trip to the fire station! There was great excitement as we found out all about life as a fireman! We got to see how firemen put out a fire, how they slide down their pole when they hear the fire alarm and we all got to sit inside a fire engine! Some of us tried on their helmets and others their fire proof coats- they were very heavy! We asked lots of questions and found our knowledge of Fireman Sam to be of great help!!
